Mum work is worth £172,000 according to a new survey
It's official! Being a mum is the most underpaid in the world. A study by florist Interflora reveals that the average mum works 119 hours a week starting at 7am and working through til 11pm. We would earn £172,000 if they were paid for the many jobs that make up their role as 'mum'. That's more than most doctors, bankers and the Prime Minister earn. |
Interflora used Government data to calculate average hourly rates for the most time-consuming 'mum-jobs' and produced an average yearly mum's salary of a staggering £172,000.
